North shore-dwellers, An info session Thursday night to introduce some basic core exercises and ideas from a physiotherapist’s point of view. It’s called Core Strength for Cycling, but she says it could just as easily have been called Core Strength for Office Workers or Core Strength for Runners. Basic premise is that core workouts prevent injuries, & don’t have to hurt (no crunches!) and don’t have to take a long time, and a few suggestions to pay attention to. I think it’s an hour or so, with time to ask questions.
