Pre-Reaper used to be a mud-fest every time it rained. We're almost done turning it into a smooth, flowy trail. This is not a typical mtb trail, but it sure is fun. Riders have been poaching the unfinished section and judging by the tracks they're loving it!
The work done in June was awesome. With enthusiastic trail workers like last time, we can crush in the remaining section and maybe get a start on the pull-out. This time the focus will be less on logs and more on crush. The NSMBA will supply tools and gloves. The steel toes are up to you, but they're recommended.
As an added incentive, Whole Foods will be supplying lunch and snacks this time. They've been warned about hungry volunteers, so bring your appetite. The menu looks awesome!
Coffee from the Lonsdale Quay Bean Around The World will be ready at 9AM in Parking Lot #5 on Cypress. Different Bikes will be there too. Hope to see you there. Please let us know if you can make it.
