Ride Leader Training Day

Please save the date!

Ride Leader Training/Accident Simulation Day is mandatory for all ride leaders; i.e. you must have a very good excuse for not attending and still maintain your ride leader status (especially for new ride leaders).

Plan on being busy from 8:00am to 2:00pm. Details: Meet at Jaycee House (1251 Lillooet North Vancouver) before 7:45am for a ride leader meet and greet as well as some ride leader training.  Move to LSCR at 10:00 for simulation training, meet at gazebo.  Lunch and recap at about 2:00pm.

What to bring: We are outside for simulation training so prepare for the weather.  Knee pads are great to have as you will be on the ground most of the training.  You need your first aid kit and will be using it (I will bring new kits for the new leaders).  Having a back pack to carry your first aid kit just like you would on the trail is recommended.  No need to bring you bike but you can if you wish.
