NsRide and the Inside Edge Club

Here is information about taking advantage of the Inside Edge Club offer.

Any NS ride member wanting to stay at the lodge must follow the same booking rules as our members do, so the one in question is that you can not book for a Saturday only stay until the Wed. before the Saturday.

Friday Saturday combo price = $55
Saturday only = $35

Fill in Name
For member number put 888
If they will need parking put the license plate number in the field ($2.50 per night)
Fill in all the other information dates etc, and credit card information
In the bed preferences and notes area put:

NS ride member booking as guest of Ian Baron
Bed Preference (pick a bed number)


If you have members that wish to book as a couple, then put that in the bed preference 1 a&b, and put the other persons name in the first guest field.

If any of your members are booking for a second person, they can put their name in the guest field as well.

Some questions and answers:

1. how many people can come?
The lodge can accommodate up to 20 people (1 being me, so up to 19 people from NS Ride)

2. what nights are we required to book (i.e. friday and/or saturday)?
The booking policy is the same as our members, they will be required to book the Friday/Saturday night up until the Wednesday before the Saturday, at which time they will be allowed to book for a Saturday night only stay.

3. costs for each option
Saturday night only = $35, Friday/Saturday = $55

4. bike storage?
Bikes are not allowed to be stored in the rooms, there is however two secure places to store the bikes
The ski locker it will hold about 3 bikes hanging (same door code as the front door)
Bike shed, which is a locked shed, and has locking bars inside, so that the bike can be locked.

5. sleeping arrangements (there are some couples in the club)
The lodge has 6 bedrooms, two of which have double beds, that can accommodate couples, the other rooms will have two bunk beds in each for a total of 4 people sleeping in each room dorm style accommodation,  the accommodation will be filled on a first come first served basis, so the rooms may have mixed gender.

6. what each person should bring (bed linens, sleeping bags, food, toilet paper?)

7. clean up rules?
There are some, each person is expected to do a chore before they leave, clean a bathroom, a kitchen, vacuum, clean entrance way, take garbage and recycle etc.  There is a chore signup sheet posted at the lodge, fill it in on a first come first served basis, the shovel snow chore must be done if it signed up for, difficult in the summer.

8. parking?
There are 7 parking spaces available on the lot, they are to be requested at booking time, and will be charged at $2.50.  We encourage car pooling.  Any additional vehicles can park on even side of the street (same side as the lodge).

9. check in/check out times?
None really, I would not anticipate that there would be anybody in on the Thursday, so Friday at any time one can setup the bed, I would also anticipate that there would not be anyone staying on the Sunday evening, so they can leave when they see fit.  In general if there is someone scheduled in the bed that you have been assigned, then please have the bed cleared by 4-5 so that they can setup, other than that they can stay as long as they like on the Sunday
