Cumberland 2010 and Winthrop Washington

I know it's real early, but I want to get everyone thinking about it. There will be a couple of changes in 2010. The Cumberland weekend in 2010 will be on the July long weekend. 2nd. We will ride Hornby Island on the Saturday. Forbidden on Sunday and the trails in Cumberland on Monday. The Riding Fool Hostel will still be hosting us, but we may include another Hostel in town which will have more private rooms. Something for you all to chew on.

Bob Amos, Ken Hanson and myself are in the very early stages of planing a trip to the Winthrop Washington Mountain Bike Festival in September/October. We don't have a exact date yet.

Something to consider is that a lot of people may be taking the Friday off due to the holiday on Thursday and may not be able to ride on Monday. If there is interest, Friday might be a better option and you could just bump the schedule a bit. Also, there may be some wanting to go all four days, Thursday to Sunday. Just some more to think about.

Have you got any plans for Winthrop at all in 2010????

Unfortunately not, the bike festival in Winthrop I was planning the trip around has completely changed. It's turned into a outdoor movie festival and the events that I enjoyed are not being done this time around. Maybe next year.
