FREE to a good home. 47cm Kona Lisa road 'bike' (I've stripped it down and would recommend some new bits)

Hi guys,

I just spent my afternoon stripping down my old road bike. It is super small so suit a small lady or maybe for a kid. I'm 5ft0.

No bones about it, this bike has done some good miles, BUT I just feel like it has more to give if someone would like to take it and refresh it. Decided I want a cycloX for winter commuting to feel safer so need to make space. Not really looking for money just that it goes somewhere it will get ridden!

The details:

  • Kona lisa frame (alu frame, carbon forks) 47cm
  • Tiagra brakes/rear mech - I think the spring in one of the brake calipers is feeling a bit useless so might need replacing.
  • 105 front mech
  • 170mm 105 crankset (50/34)
  • 105 pedals (if you don't want pedals I'll probably keep them for my new bike)
  • Wheels (BUY NEW ONES) - they are destroyed from winter,  rims are shot and the bearings could do with some love (cassette is still on the rear one because I am lazy but you are welcome to have it, 12-25)
  • BB feels surprisingly good
  • Might need a new headset (but I've been riding this one so your choice)

Picture attached.

Any questions just sent me a message.

Hi Siân,

I'd love this bike if it isn't already taken - i'm currently using my orange five for everything - riding on Fromme, trailing the boys, going into the city for dinner etc, which is not ideal, it would be great to have an alternative. Please let me know if it is still available.

Cheers,

Jess

Siân: Is this bike still available?  I have a friend who may be interested.  -  Colin
